Part 1: Setup Instructions

Step 1: Unboxing and Inspection

  • Upon receiving the cotton candy machine, carefully unpack the unit and ensure that all components are present and undamaged.
  • Verify that the machine, spinning head, bowl, and any included accessories are in good condition.

Step 2: Placement

  • Choose a suitable location for the cotton candy machine. Place it on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is enough space around the machine to prevent overheating and ensure safe operation.

Step 3: Power Connection

  • Locate the power cord and plug it into a grounded electrical outlet with the appropriate voltage (as indicated on the machine’s label).
  • Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the machine.

Step 4: Preheating

  • Turn the machine ON using the power switch.
  • Allow the machine to preheat for about 5-10 minutes. You will notice the spinning head start to rotate.

Step 5: Adding Sugar

  • While the machine is preheating, gather your pre-mixed cotton candy floss sugar.
  • Carefully pour the sugar into the reservoir, being cautious not to spill any on the machine’s components.

Step 6: Creating Cotton Candy

  • Wait until the spinning head has collected enough melted sugar (usually indicated by a web-like appearance).
  • Hold a paper cone or stick at a slight angle next to the spinning head. Allow the cotton candy to accumulate on the cone or stick by moving it around the spinning head.
  • Continue until you’ve reached your desired size of cotton candy.

Part 2: Cleanup Instructions

Step 1: Power Off

  • Turn the machine OFF using the power switch.
  • Unplug the machine from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool down for a few minutes.

Step 2: Removing Remaining Sugar

  • If there is any remaining sugar in the machine, wait until it cools down to a safe temperature.
  • Open the sugar reservoir and carefully remove any leftover sugar, disposing of it properly.

Step 3: Cleaning the Spinning Head

  • Gently detach the spinning head from the machine following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Wash the spinning head in warm, soapy water, using a soft cloth or sponge to remove any sugar residue.
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow the spinning head to air dry completely before reattaching it.

Step 4: Cleaning the Bowl and Exterior

  • Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth to remove any sugar or dirt.
  • If the bowl is removable, wash it in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry it before reassembly.

Step 5: Packaging for Pickup or Return

  • Once all components are dry, carefully disassemble the machine and its accessories.
  • Place the clean and dry machine, spinning head, bowl, and accessories back into their original packaging.
